Dragon Age: Origins.

Just started playing it. One thing to note, can’t stand all the needless deaths! I’m playing a Human Warrior, and the parents died, the brother’s wife and child died, the king died, the mentor died… So many pointless deaths! Grrrr. But I must admit, very immersive gameplay. I can really become a fan of BioWare games. Loved KOTOR 1 and 2, loving this. Should try Mass Effect next, although I hear DA:O is going to take me well over a hundred hours, excluding the expansion.

So my WoW subscription just renewed on the 21st. Ughh. Should have stopped it I suppose? I barely touched it since a couple weeks before Chinese New Year. Around 2 months of wasted monthly payments. Perhaps I should at least get my dailies done. Hhhmmmm.

Another month gone by, another payment, but I’ve barely played the game. At the most 3, maybe 4 quests? And zero instance runs since… July? No point shifting servers yet either. I don’t really want to leave Cairne, but with the kind of time I’m spending on the game, shifting to another server wouldn’t make much of a difference.

Perhaps this is a sign for me to quit… again. Time management and balance… Easier said than done.

I still have a lot of things I’m supposed to be doing. And a lot of things I want to do.

The WoW UI.

Just updated all my add-ons, also installed Pitbull 4 over X-perl. Going to try and set up a new UI to work with my n52te. I haven’t used the n52te since Karazhan in August ’08. I remember loads of fun times tanking with it though. Didn’t set up for it when I started playing WoW again this year, but I don’t want it to go to waste, it does help quite a bit once it’s configured right. Reset my key bindings to default, took some time to set up the bars for my paladin’s tank mode, but it’s almost 3am now and I’m too tired to do the rest. Left with setting up Pitbull 4, my healer mode, and my death knight’s bars. Not going to bother with the rest for now. Will take a screenshot once I’m done. ^^

I’m wondering whether to transfer over to Jubei’Thos to join YC. Or to Thaurrisan to join ZQ. Or stay in Cairne, but I feel so lost here. I miss the old guild from last year. It really felt special, like a family. *sigh* Perhaps I’m just not putting in enough effort to get to know the people in my current guild, I shouldn’t keep sticking to the people I knew from last year. Anyway with the way things are going, considering I haven’t run anything with them in over a month, and the number of people who left and joined in that time period… And that BP hasn’t logged on in ages as well.

Hhhmmmmm.

Got stuck trying to materialize this concept/idea I had for the website I’m working on. Is it the tablet’s fault? No, I’m just not good enough with it yet. I think I  should stop trying to pull these little things off, stick with what I know works for sure first, I can explore the other areas when I have more time. Thanks to my little ventures, I wasted quite a few hours producing very little.

In other news, my Paladin’s at level 16 now, thanks to quite a bit of group questing. My latency with Cairne server is increasing though, between 500 and 650ms. Gameplay seems fine though.

I have many, many things to do. Got to focus, get into the momentum…

New category for WoW.

Just created a new category for WoW-related posts, I have a hunch that such posts are going to increase in number over the next few weeks. =P

I’m studying for tomorrow’s Statistics test, researching for some stuff regarding my web design work, and webcam-ing with my girlfriend all at the same time right now (although the active tab in Firefox at the moment is my blog).

I’m a level 11 Paladin now. A couple more quests and I’ll be moving out of Elwyn Forest to Westfall area next. I still want to do loads of mining though, I’m always short of cash, and I’m in serious need for more bags too.

And new armor while I’m at it, I’m using a full set of Light Mail armor right now, but the defense is still pretty weak even with my Paladin’s Devotion Aura at rank 2.

I feel like playing a Hunter though, not so much for the pet, but I want to use a Bow weapon. Heh.
