So the Qi charger in my desk started failing - I think it didn't like the continuous usage, and being completely encapsulated in my desk with no airflow to cool down.

I decided to re-think the whole problem, and came up with this solution - building a MagSafe-style "dock" into the desk instead, to charge the keyboard. So now I can still move the keyboard around and continue to use it whenever I need to, but for extended usage, I can dock it in for uninterrupted power.
